Last updated: April 22, 2026

How to Delete Your Data

HabitVault stores all your data locally on your device. No data is stored on our servers. You have full control over your data at all times.

Delete All Data from the App

To delete all your habits, completions, notes, settings, and achievements:

  1. Open HabitVault on your device
  2. Tap the More tab in the bottom navigation bar
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete All Data
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

This permanently deletes all data stored in the app, including habits, completion history, streaks, crystals, achievements, notes, timer sessions, and app settings.

Remove Google Drive Backups

If you used Google Sign-In and backed up your data to Google Drive, the backup file is stored in your own Google Drive account (not on our servers). To remove it:

  1. Open Google Drive in your browser
  2. Navigate to the HabitVault app data folder
  3. Delete the backup file(s)

You can also revoke HabitVault's access to your Google account:

  1. Go to Google Account Permissions
  2. Find HabitVault in the list of connected apps
  3. Click Remove Access

Uninstall the App

Uninstalling HabitVault from your device will automatically delete all locally stored data, as all data is kept in the app's private storage on your device.
